Store your cordless lawn trimmer out of the reach of children.
The ideal storage temperature to ensure that the battery loses
the least amount of charge is between 5 – 25 °C.
1. Clean the cordless lawn trimmer and oil the blades
(see 7. Maintenance).
2. Cover the blades with sheath for storage.
3. Charging the battery (see 4. Initial Operation).
4. Store the cordless lawn trimmer in a cool, dry place protected
from frost.
The product must not be added to normal household waste. It
must be disposed of in line with local environmental regulations.
v Important: Make sure that the unit is disposed of via your
municipal recycling collection centre.
The GARDENA cordless lawn trimmer contains lithium-ion cells
that should not be discarded with normal household waste at the
end of their life.

Important :
Please return the lithium-ion cells to your GARDENA dealer or
dispose of them properly at a public recycling centre.
1. Discharge lithium-ion cells completely.
2. Dispose of lithium-ion cells properly.
Blades can cause injury.
V Do not push the safety lock of the cordless lawn trimmer
forwards during maintenance work.
There is a risk of personal injury and damage to the
cordless lawn trimmer if you clean them under running
water (especially under high pressure).
V Never clean your cordless lawn trimmer under running
water.
To obtain good cutting results, the blades should be cleaned
thoroughly from time to time and should always be sharp.
Always remove notches and burrs caused by stones etc.

1. Remove the blades (see 8. Troubleshooting, "Replacing
Cutting Blades" ).
