Power On Procedure



Power on ETERNUS from Controller Enclosure



Push the Power Switch



If everything is OK, the READY LED will go green in about three minutes



LEDs

POWER

• Green when the power is turned on

READY

• Green when the system is available for use

FAULT

• Steady orange when a malfunctioning system

component has been detected

• Blinking orange when a preventive replacement of

a system component is required

IDENTIFY

• Blinking blue when turned on from the

management software

CACHE

• Steady green when the cache is in use

• Blinking green when a power failure has occurred

and the cache data has been stored in the

CompactFlash memory
