3.2 Service Schedule

Perform Service at Intervals Indicated (X)
FUEL SYSTEM
Check the fuel level and fill as necessary
Check the choke operation
Lubricate the carburetor and choke linkage
Check the fuel lines and replace them as necessary *
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Check the crankcase oil level and add oil as necessary
Replace the oil in the crankcase
COOLING SYSTEM
Check the air intake and cooling areas for obstructions and
clean as necessary
IGNITION SYSTEM
Check the spark plug condition, adjust gap, and clean.
Replace if necessary
INTAKE/EXHAUST SYSTEM
Inspect the exhaust system components *
Check the air cleaner for dirty, loose, or damaged parts
Check the exhaust gas color
Clean the air cleaner's paper element
Replace the air cleaner's paper element
Check the crankcase breather pipe for obstructions *
Inspect the complete exhaust system *
Clean the muffler screen/spark arrestor and clean or replace
as necessary
* Consult your local distributor/dealer for service
