5.4 Fuel filter cartridge replacement

1 - Unscrew the filter cartridge A from the holder B.

2 - Unscrew the fuel water sensor D.

3 - Replace the gasket C.

4 - Lubricate the gasket E.

5 - Screw the new filter cartridge A.

Important

• Do not fill the new cartridge A with fuel.

6 - Turn the key on the control panel to the ON position.

The electric pump C sends fuel to the filter and then the

injection pump D.

7 - Procure a suitable container to collect the fuel.

8 - Loosen the air bleeding screw A on fuel filter bracket B.

The air inside the circuit and the filter will begin to escape

from the screw A.

9 - Tighten the bleeding screw A (tightening torque of 1.5 Nm)

when the fuel begins to flow.
