15. With the mouthpiece facing upwards, install the "M"
clamping bands with the lugs also facing upwards.
CAUTION:
The lug of the clamping bands
should be aligned with the mold line of the
hoses when the collar is tightened
(as shown below).
CAUTION:
The position of the corrugated
hose mold lines along with the mold lines
of the second stage boxes and mold lines
of the connectors is important to defi ne
the average position of the mouthpiece in
the mouth.
END OF REASSEMBLY
TEST IN WATER
Check that all the MP and HP plugs are in place and that a
correctly adjusted second stage is connected to the fi rst stage.
Slowly open the cylinder valve to put the regulator under pressure.
Immerse the fi rst stage, second stage and hoses completely in
water to check that there are no leaks.
NOTE:
Do not mistake any bubbles that
are trapped in the regulator with a leak.
If there is a leak there will be a constant
stream of bubbles.
When you are sure that there is no leak, close the cylinder valve
and purge the regulator. Remove the fi rst stage from the cylinder
and refi t the dust cap.
