Install Mounting Rail to a Stud Wall

1 . Locate the studs using a stud finder .

2 . Position the mounting rail on the wall at a convenient

height .

3 . Use a bubble level to ensure the mounting rail is

horizontal .

4 . Mark hole centre locations on the wall .

5 . Using a 6mm (¼ in .) drill bit, drill pilot holes

approximately 6 .4cm (2 .5 in .) deep centered on the

marks you made in step 4 .

6 . Hang the mounting rail with the lag screws .

1 . Hang the hose reel on the mounting rail .

2 . Attach 2 mounting clips to the bottom rail, one at the

far left and one at the far right .

3 . Mark the hole centre locations on the wall .

4 . Remove hose reel .

5 . Using a 10mm (

in .) drill bit, drill pilot holes

6 . Push plastic anchors into the holes .

7 . Rehang hose reel .

8 . Drive screws into plastic anchors tightly with a

screwdriver .
