Lift the module cable away from the SCM by holding the cable touch point.

Holding the touch point, allow the module cable to slowly retract into the cable coil.

Remove the screws securing the SCM to the module holder on the midplane interface module.

Holding the SCM by the touch points, lift the SCM from the connector on the midplane interface module.
