This control switches the lighting on
and off, and is also a dimmer switch.

Operating hours control
The indicator lamp for the operating
hours control lights up red when the
grease filter needs to be cleaned.
Additional feature of the DA 5100 U:
The indicator lamp lights up blue when
the charcoal filter used in recirculation
mode needs to be replaced. For this to
happen, the operating hours counter
needs to be activated before the
appliance is used for the first time.
The control is used to reset the
appropriate operating hours counter
each time the grease filter is cleaned or
the charcoal filter has been changed
(see "Cleaning and care").
It can also be used to check and alter
the operating hours counter.
