Chapter 2 Using Intel Active Management Technology (select models only)
To do this
Disable/enable the management engine.
Disable/enable local management of firmware updates.
Disable/enable the integrated network controller.
Enable AMT or none.
Configure the management engine power policies.
To do this
Assign a host name to the computer.
Disable/enable network interface or DHCP (assigns an IP
address if DHCP has been disabled) or change the domain
name.
Assign a Provisioning server address.
Assign Enterprise or Small Business Intel AMT model.
Enter PID and PPS.
Reset the AMT configuration to factory defaults.
Enable remote boot control to IDE floppy or CD-ROM and
assign a username and password.
Enable or disable updating firmware remotely.
Set the real-time clock.
Set a time-out value.
To do this
Change the password.
NOTE:
The default password is admin.
