To ach i eve optimum performance of the S t andard Floodlamp follow t he i nstructions provided be l ow:
1.

2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Thi s floodlamp has b ee n d esigned to b e u se d fully submerge d und erwater i n fres h wate r swimming po ol s. It is a
Class III el ectri c a pp aratus with very low safety voltage (12V with al te rn ating curr ent).

3. I N STALLATION:

I n orde r to clea r ly light a p ool it is r e c ommen d e d lo in st all a LED floo d la mp every 15 o r 20 m² of wate r surface.
In swimming pools which are especially deep, a LED floodlamp is r equired fo r every 15 or 20 m³
of water volume.
In orde r to pr event gl are, the floo d lamps s h o u ld be installe d so that they face away from the r eside nc e o r us ual
view of the swimming pool.
In the eve n t t h at lighting is u se d in t rai ning or c o mp etit ion p ools, the flo odl amps s h o u l d b e in st alled on the sid es
to pr event gl are on t h e swimmers.
To avoi d the need to empty the p ool to ch a n ge the la mp , we recomme nd that the flo odl amp be i n st alled in areas
w h ich are a cc essi ble from the up pe r edge of the p ool.
P rior to installatio n verify t h at the gl an d se al has been fully tig h tened.
T h e floo d la mp should b e p laced on the wall of t h e po ol at ap pr oximately 700 mm f r o m t h e wate r su r face(F ig .1).
The meth o d of faste n ing the housing to the po ol wall varies dependi n g on whethe r it is a floo dlamp fo r c o nc rete
pools or pr efa b ricated po ol s.
Concrete swimming pool
Place the crosshead mount of the flat floodlamp in the designated place. Mark the holes. Drill with a 8 bit and insert the 4
fastening blocks.
Position the crosshead mount so that the word "TOP" is located on the upper part.
Use four 4.8x25 screws to secure the crosshead mount to the wall(Fig 2).
Place the conduit body in the upper left quadrant of the crosshead mount, in a ccordance with the measurements
shown in Fig 3.

Place the crosshead mount of the flat floodlamp in the designated place. Mark the holes. Drill with a 8 bit.
Position the crosshead mount so that the word "TOP" is located on the upper part.
Use four M-6x35 screws with four washers to secure the crosshead mount to the inner wall of the swimming
pool.Place 4 butt joints between the mount and the liner. On the outer side of the swimming pool, insert 4 washers
and r nuts(Fig 2)
Place the conduit body in the upper left quadrant of the crosshead mount, in accordance with the measurements
shown in Fig 3. Use the butt point and the conduit nut to secure on the outer side of the swimming pool.
