9. Storage and shipping regulations
Storage time of DWM-203 before the start of operation - 3 years at a temperature of + 5 to + 38 ºС, in the original packaging
in enclosed spaces with natural ventilation with a relative humidity of not more than 80%.
Do not rotate the DWM-203, subject it to strokes and other mechanical influences.
Attention! Membrane modules are supplied in a sealed package.
After opening the package it is allowed to store the membrane module
for no more than 3 days.
When transporting, storing and using the DWM-203, protect it from blows and falls, and from freezing of water in it.
Keep out of the membrane modules to high and low temperatures, direct sunlight.
10. Safety
DWM-203 is designed for post-treatment and softening of drinking water, corresponding to sanitary regulations and norms
2.1.4.1074-01.
When installing DWM-203 outside the central drinking water supply systems, it is recommended that the analysis of the
source water be carried out in accordance with sanitary regulations and norms 2.1.4.1074-01.
• If the influent water does not meet the requirements of sanitary regulations and norms 2.1.4.1074-01, the life of the
prefiltration unit and reverse osmosis membranes is sharply reduced.
• If the influent water differs significantly from the requirements of sanitary regulations and norms 2.1.4.1074-01, it is
recommended to install additional water treatment systems (iron remover, softener, disinfectant, mechanical filter, etc.).
• After the installation of DWM-203, it is necessary to analyze the purified water for compliance with sanitary regulations and
norms 2.1.4.1074-01. In the future, to ensure proper operation of DWM-203, purified water should be checked
approximately once a year or in case of changes in taste or smell of water. If the research results are unsatisfactory, you
cannot drink water, you should contact the service provider.
• Although the Stage Reverse Osmosis is able to delay bacteria and viruses that can be contained in the source water, it is
recommended to use the system only for water purification, which is safe in microbiological terms. Do not use the system
to purify water of unknown quality that has not undergone additional disinfection.
Purified water is not subject to long-term storage. We recommend to use fresh filtered water. Utilization is carried out in
accordance with environmental, sanitary and other requirements established by national standards in the field of
environmental protection and ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.
Precautions for use DWM with electric power supply
Before connecting the power supply for the DWM to the mains, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the
parameters specified in the DWM certificate. Use only an electric power supply with the output characteristics as
specified in this manual (24 V ± 5%, 5 A direct current). Before the installation of DWM, make sure that it is protected
from freezing, water ingress, direct sunlight, contact with hot objects, including hot water and heating pipes, and
heating appliances. Prevent from strokes and falls of DWM.
The cord of the electric power supply connected to the DWM must not be strained. Be careful that the power cord
does not touch surfaces that could damage it.
Do not immerse the DWM, as well as the power supply, the power cord and the plug of the power cord into water or
any other liquid used together with it, wash them under water or in a dishwasher.
In order to avoid electric shock, do not touch the power supply connected to the DWM
power supply with wet hands, nor the power supply unit, its power cord or plug.
Do not allow the DWM shell to get dirty. If necessary, wipe it with a dry cloth, before disconnecting the DWM from
the electric power supply.
Do not disassemble the DWM and decapsulate it!
Do not use DWM and the electric power supply when there is fault-finding or conductor failure. Do not attempt to
repair the device yourself. If any malfunction is detected, first unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet, then
disconnect it from the DWM. Get in touch with service provider.
