3. Fixing kit
Installation
Self adhesive feet are supplied in the fixing kit and
can be placed in the circular indents on the back
of the
unit.
They will
provide
friction when placing
the AquaRay MultiControl unit on a horizontal
surface.
The unit can be mounted on a vertical surface
using the screws supplied in the fixing kit. These
engage into the
keyho le
slots on the back of the
unit.
When mounting th
e
AquaRay MultiControl unit,
please make sure there is enough space below to
connect t he PSU and lamps
.
O nce the unit
is
in position, connect the lamps to
the AquaRay MultiControl unit by plugging them
into Outputs I -

Please
note:
Channel I and
Channel 2 are
co ntro
lled independently of each
other.
Then connect th
e
PSU to the AquaRay
MultiControl unit by plugging it into the Input.

Operation
Once mounted and connected according to the
installation instructions above, the PSU may be
switched on
.
Th
e
screen will display 'PLS WAIT'
while it
initialises.
Once it has entered 'RUN'
mode (i .e. the cloc
k
is d isplayed) you may
program the unit as detailed below:­
Pressing the MODE button will cycle through
the available
modes
(see table
overleaf).
If no
button is pressed for 10
seconds,
the AquaRay
MultiControl unit will return to
'RUN'
mode.
Holding a button down will cause an auto-repeat
of that button.
Pressing
'+'
in 'RUN' mode will advance
Channel I to the next phase. The phases are;
OFF,
RAMP Up, ON and RAMP
DOWN.
Pressing '-' in 'RUN' mode will initiate the
'Storm
Function'
(see
later
in this booklet fo
r
details of this function)
.
Pressing '-' whilst in
'Storm
Function'
will exit and resume the user
set program.
Lamps start
to
brighten
whe
n the ON TIME
equals the current time. A RAMP time of I is
equivalent to I minute
before
lamps are at full
brightness.
