Aquarium Co-Op Air Pump Instructions
Note:
Do not attempt to disassemble. Disassembling will void the 1-year warranty.
Do not submerge the air pump in water, and do not let the power plug and USB cable get wet.
If the air pump is placed below the rim of the aquarium, use a check valve to prevent water from flowing
out of the fish tank and onto the air pump whenever the power is off.
Installation Guide:
1. Open the rubber flap protecting the USB Type-C outlet and plug in the USB cable. The USB Type-C
connector plugs into the air pump, while the USB Type-A connector should already be plugged into the
USB power adapter.
2. On the other end of the air pump is one or two air pump outlets, depending on the model. Connect
airline tubing to each of the air pump outlets, and then connect the other end of the airline tubing to an
air stone, sponge filter, or other air-driven device. (Make sure to connect two air-driven devices when
using the dual outlet model.) If the air pump is located below the rim of the aquarium, cut the airline
tubing between the air-driven device and air pump, and connect a check valve in between. The end of
the check valve with the flapper (which looks like a colored or horizontal bar) should be facing the air
pump. If you install the check valve backwards, no air will flow when you turn on the air pump, so just
flip the check valve around.
3. Once the air-driven device is placed in the aquarium, plug the
USB power adapter into an electrical outlet. The battery
indicator light turns green to display the amount of
rechargeable battery life and slowly blinks while actively
charging. To prevent water from flowing down the USB cable
into the electrical outlet, create a "drip loop" with the USB
cable so that part of the cord dips down lower than the outlet.
