Operation in the 5 GHz Band
 Operation in the 5150-5250 MHz ba nd is restricted by Industry
Canada and the FCC to indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful
interference to co-channel mo bile satellite systems.
 High-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e., priority
users) of the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz and these radars
could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
 The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250-5350
MHz and 5470-5725 MH z shall comply with the e.i.r.p. limit; and
 The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5825
MHz shall comply with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for point-to-point and
non-point-to-point operation as appropriate.

Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy

This device was tested and found to comply with the radio freque ncy (RF)
safety and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) requirements established by the
FCC and Industry Canada.
The Federal Communications Co mmission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC) have
established a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg, which applies in the United States, Canada
and other countries that use the same SAR limit.
