5.1 Tocheck t he1150's i nternal battery's status, push thepower switch o n
thefront o fthe1150 t otheDISPLAY position. The display willshow the
charge p ercentage oftheinternal battery.
5.2 When connected tothevehicle, thedisplay s hows t hevehicle's battery
voltage. When connected and intheON position, thedisplay s hows t he
equalized voltage b etween thevehicle's battery a ndinternal battery. If
thedisplay b utton ispressed, thebattery p ercentage
isshown ( instead o f
voltage).
5.3 When theinverter isturned o nandbeing used, t hedisplay will s how the
total w attage u sed bythedevice b eing powered bytheinverter.

ThePortable Power 1150 isa power source f orall12voltDCaccessories
thatareequipped witha 12V accessory plug. T heDCaccessory outlet
hasa 15-amp a utomatic overload protection circuit breaker. The breaker
wilt a utomatically
reset a fter a noverload occurs.
To Operate a 12V DC Device:
• Open the protective cover of the DC power outlet on the front panel of the
Portable Power 1150.
• Ptug the 12V DC device into the DC power outlet, and turn the 12V DC
device "ON" (if required).
• If the 12V DC device draws more than 15A, the internal circuit breaker
of the Portable Power 1150 will momentarily disconnect power to the
device. If this occurs, unplug the device and the circuit breaker will auto-
matically reset after several seconds.
• The DC power outlet is internally wired directly to the internal battery.
Extended operation of a 12V DC device may result in excessive battery
drain. Recharge immediately after unplugging the device.
