Initialize a Disk

If a New Simple Volume option is not available while right-clicking the "Unallocated" box, then

look to the left of the "Unallocated" box. Most likely you would see HDD(s) "Not Initialized".

Initialize the HDD(s) and make sure you see "Online" before proceeding to HDD

formatting/partitioning.

1. Right-click the "Not Initialized" block to open pull-down menu.

2. Select "Initialize Disk".
