The FEF SoE are executed on the co-processor of the
AddFEM SoE.
The execution takes place in parallel to the functions signal
acquisition and data exchange via PROFIBUS DP that are
executed by the main processor of the AddFEM SoE.
All 31 binary outputs are processed cyclically and in parallel
within the fixed set cycle time of 0.666 ms.
The following processing times have to be taken into con-
sideration for the cyclic processing time of the 31 digital
input channels:
For data exchange between the two processors

For the signal conditioning
•
The total period until the messages are available in the host
also depends on:
The set transport interval

The alarm processing time of the host (data transport

With the maximum configuration of 31 digital input channels,
at least the following resources remain that can be used
