3 Handling of the Device

ATTENTION

Read all instructions first before using the MFT920!

Do not drink any alcohol or take any drugs while using the MFT920

and follow the saftey instructions carefully!

Only original ACD power packs or the ACD power supply cable

may be used for operating the MFT920. Observe the input voltage

range on the rating plate located at the bottom of the device.

Tampering with the device or improper operation will lead to a loss

of warranty! If problems occur, ACD must be contacted

immediately.

The power supply is electrically isolated from the device.

Bear in mind, however, that this electrical isolation ceases to be

effective if the interfaces (COM/USB) of the device are directly

supplied with input voltage (without electrical isolation).

Prior to each use, the terminal as well as the connection cables

must be inspected for damage. Damaged parts must be replaced.

Prior to each journey, the mounting bracket of the MFT920 must be

inspected for damage (tear, deformation). Defective mounting

brackets must be replaced for your own safety.

In order to prevent excessive heat, the terminal, as well as the

power pack (if a power pack is used), must not be covered while in

use.

Do not place the terminal close to any heat sources (such as space

heaters) and do not expose it to direct sunlight or excessive dust

sources.

Make sure there is no risk of stumbling over connection cables or

power packs.
