Answer a Call

Answer a Call
Procedure
Step 1
Lift the handset.
Step 2
If you are using a headset, press the Headset button.
Step 3
If you are using the speakerphone, press the Answer soft key or the Speaker button.
Step 4
If necessary, press the line button to select between incoming calls.
Auto Answer
Auto Answer connects incoming calls automatically after a default timeout and works with either the
speakerphone or headset.

Busy Lamp Field

Busy Lamp Field (BLF) allows configuring a directory number that a user can monitor for incoming calls.
When the directory number receives an incoming call, the system alerts the monitoring user, who can then
pick up the call.

Call Back

Call Back provides an audio and visual alert on the phone when a busy or unavailable party becomes available.
Call Back, which is available as a soft key, may also be available as a feature button. See your system
administrator for additional information.
Set up a Call Back Notification
Procedure
Step 1
Press the Callback soft key while listening to the busy tone or ring sound.
Step 2
A confirmation screen displays on the phone.
Step 3
Press the Exit soft key to exit from the confirmation screen.
Step 4
Your phone alerts you when the line is free.
Step 5
Press the Redial hard key to place the call again.
