Error Messages

Error message Cause
Cutter blocked
Cutter cover open
Device not locked
Device too hot
Media too thick
Warning
message
Blades dirty or
worn out
Warning messages can be acknowledged with Next and the printing and
cutting process will be continued.
The media cannot be cut
and the blades cannot
return in the home
position.
Cutter is without function.
Cover of cutter is not
mounted.
Cutter is not in operating
position.
Tear-off Plate not mounted
Temperature of the cutter
is not in the allowed range.
The media cannot be cut
but the blades can return
in the home position.
Cause
Cleaning or blade-re-
placing necessary.
Remedy
 Switch off the printer.
 Remove trapped material.
 Switch on the printer.
 New start of the print job.
Change material.
 Switch off and on the
printer.
 If it does occur again,
contact service.
 Mount the cover
 Fold up and lock the cutter
unit.
 Mount the Tear-off Plate
 Let cool down the cutter.
 Press Cancel .
 Change material.
Remedy
 Clean the blades.
 Change the blades.
