Installing the Power Supply
The Cisco NCS 4201 provides the choice of two different power supplies:
• DC power—-48 V/60 Vdc or 24 Vdc
The DC power supply uses 2 position terminal block-style connector. The terminal block connector is of
suitable size to carry the appropriate AWG wire size to handle the input current of the power supply. ON/OFF
switch is provided.
• AC power—100 VAC to 240 VAC
The AC power supply has an IEC 320-type power receptacle and a 15-A service connector. You can use
standard straight power cords with the AC power supply. The power supply includes a power cord retainer
clip that can only accept straight power cords. No ON/OFF switch is provided.
Each power supply provides a single primary input power connection. You can install dual-power supplies
for redundancy.
