Thermostat Function

The DT-02 is a proprietary digital thermostat that allows the MES / HD air conditioners to have multi

fan speed modes that reduce the current consumption of the air conditioners. When either the fan

speed goes slower or the air in the vehicle gets colder the blower and or compressor reduce

themselves in speed leading to less current consumption. The fan speed is selectable for high

medium or low. In these settings the unit will stay on that setting till the thermostat temperature is

reached. Typically the lower the fan speed the less the current the unit consumes. The Auto feature (5

fan blade logo with a circle around it) allows the unit to go up or down in fan speed as the interior

room temperature gets closer or farther away from the set point. The auto feature may not be

desirable during sleeping since the noise level will go up and down. The Mode or M button has 3 logo

indicators on the screen Sun / Heat (not used) Half Sun and Snowﬂake (not used ) Snowﬂake / Cool
