Playing CDs

Press the CD button then lightly press the OPEN/
CLOSE sensor (0 on the remote).
The CD cover opens. Push a CD, with the label face out, onto the
disc spindle.
Lightly press the OPEN/CLOSE sensor (or 0) again

to close the CD cover.
Press 6 to start playback.

Use the
buttons (remote) or the
VOL
adjust the playback volume.
To pause playback, press 6.

To resume playback, press again.
To scan backward or forward, press and hold 1 or

On the front panel, these buttons are marked – · 1/4 and
¢/¡ · +.
Release the button to resume normal playback.

To skip back or forward to another track, press –
· 4 or ¢ · +.

Summary of playback controls for
CDs
Below is a summary of what remote control buttons do when
you're playing a CD.

What it does

Starts/restarts playback; pauses a disc that's playing.

Stops playback.

Press & hold for fast reverse scanning.

Press & hold for fast forward scanning .

Skips to the start of the current track, then to previous
tracks. Press repeatedly to skip to previous tracks.
¢ · +
Skips to the next track.
Starts playback from the selected track number.
Numbers
10/0
Use as 10 or 0 when selecting tracks.
>10
Selects tracks 10 and over. (For example, for 24, press
>10 , 2 , 4.)
