When troubles occur:

a disc is dirty.
Two discs are loaded on the disc table. Or, a disc
is dirty.

TROUBLESHOOTING
e@Load the disc correctly with the label side
upward.
e@Use a soft cloth and lightly wipe off the dirt
from the surface of the disc. If necessary,
moisten a cloth with diluted neutral detergent
to remove heavy dirt or fingerprints.
@ Set the disc properly.
eConnect the amplifier correctly.
e@Refer to the operating instructions for the
amplifier, and operate the amplifier correctly.
Clean the plugs and terminals and connect
again.
@ Make sure that connections are made correctly.
e@Press PLAY » and restore the player to play
mode.
e@ Connect to the AUX, CD, VDP, LD, or VCR jacks.
eClean the plugs and terminals and connect
again.
@Push the plug in firmly.

Reload a disc corresponding to a disc guide on
the disc table.
Wipe the disc with a soft cloth.
Open the disc table and press » again.
Load only one disc on the disc table.
Wipe the disc with a soft cloth.
Open the disc table and press > again.
If the same service number is displayed, the
player is in abnormal condition. When requesting
service, please notify the displayed number on
the display of the player or on the TV screen (for
example, 'service number E 4').
