OPERATION

SPECIFY THE UNDESIRED TRACKS AND PLAY

THE DESIRED TRACKS (DELETE PLAYBACK)

® After specifying the undesired tracks and/or discs, the rest of

the tracks and discs set in the magazine

are played (Delete

play).

After ail the remaining tracks are played, the player will enter

the stop mode.

® Disc numbers from 1 to 6 and track numbers from 1 to 32 may

be selected.

Use the DISC NUMBER

keys © to select the disc

number

and use the TRACK

NUMBER

keys {) to

select the track numbers.

1. In stop mode, press the DELETE key (9.

Delete mode is set and the DELETE indicator lights.

2. Press the DISC NUMBER

keys (0 to select disc

numbers and the TRACK

NUMBER

keys '7 to

select track numbers.

® Specifying only the disc number sets all tracks of the disc

to delete play.

NOTE:

° Delete playback entry is not available in program mode.

@ When

the DELETE

key is pressed,

the stored program

cleared.

START OF DELETE PLAYBACK

Press the PLAY key.

All tracks

other

than the specified

disc numbers

and

track

numbers are played sequentially.

Operation example

Ail tracks of disc 2 and track 5 of disc 3 are specified as

undesirable, and the rest of the tracks are to be played.

@ When

the

STOP

key

is pressed,

playback

will

stop.

However, the delete specifications will not be cleared. If the

STOP

key

is pressed

during

stop

mode,

the

delete

specifications will be cleared.

® Press the EJECT key 42. The magazine will eject and the delete

specifications will be cleared,

® Press the CLEAR key @. Only the delete specifications will be

cleared.

During

playback,

the player will return to normal

playback.

NOTE:

When any disc number keys or track number keys are pressed to

select tracks during delete playback, delete playback is cleared.

RANDOM

PLAYBACK

° Tracks from the discs set in the magazine are played at random

{random play}. After all the tracks on all.the discs are played,

the player will enter the stop mode.

When delete play has been set

numbers are played at random.

After the play ends, the player will enter the stop mode.

(Delete random play)

RANDOM PLAY

1. Press the RANDOM PLAY key (.

Random playback will begin.

2. Pressing the RANDOM

PLAY key 7 once more

will have the player select track at random

for

playback.

To cancel random play operation

STOP] or [EJECT]

® Press the STOP key 43 or the EJECT key @2. Playback will stop

and random play operation will be cancelled simultaneously.

e Performing disc and track select operation for playback will

also cancel random playback.

Delete Random

Play operation can also be cancelled with the

CLEAR key.

NOTE:

When the RANDOM PLAY key is pressed, the stored program is

cleared.
