! When you change the channel, the channel
name is displayed, followed by the category
name.

Storing and recalling channels

If you press any of the preset tuning buttons
1–6 you can easily store up to six broadcast
stations for later recall.
! Channels are stored and recalled on a
broadcast station basis. This means that if
the broadcast station you stored has been
assigned to a different channel by SIRIUS,
you can still recall the same broadcast sta-
tion (though a different channel number
may appear in the display).
% When you find a channel that you
want to store in memory, press and hold
one of the preset tuning buttons 1–6 until
the beep sounds.
The selected channel is stored in memory.
Next time you press the same preset tuning
button the channel is recalled from memory.
Notes
! Six channels for each band (18 channels in
total) can be stored in memory.
! When the channel number select mode is se-
lected, you can also use a or b to recall chan-
nels assigned to preset tuning buttons 1–6.
! If a channel cannot be recalled from memory,
an error message is displayed for about two
seconds.

Switching the display

Various information, including channel num-
ber, name and category, song/program title,
artist/feature and composer, can be displayed
for the selected channel.
% Press DISPLAY to switch information on
the selected channel.
Press DISPLAY repeatedly switch between the
followings:
Channel number—Channel name—Channel
Category—Artist name/feature—Song/pro-
gram title—Composer
# When you change the display, text automati-
cally scrolls.
# When you switch to unavailable information,
the display becomes blank.

Switching the scroll setting

Text information in the display automatically
scrolls through once when it is displayed. You
can change the scroll setting so that it scrolls
continuously allowing you to read all the text
anytime.
% Press and hold DISPLAY until the beep
sounds.
Press and hold DISPLAY repeatedly to switch
between the following settings:
Continuous scroll setting—One-time scroll
setting
