Installation
NOTE:
The trim replaces the tile stop on the fireplace (if installed, remove and discard the tile stop).
WARNING
Turn off gas to the appliance and make sure it has fully cooled prior to conducting service.

The trim is attached after the fireplace is in place with the non-combustible facing installed.

Remove the glass screen (and appliance trim) from the fireplace (see the manual for details).

Assemble the trim (see instructions below)
IronWorks Trim
Attach the trim to the top trim with the included ¼-20 screws (see photo below). The trim has a left and right side,
make sure to use the correct side when assembling the trim.
Beveled and 2" Trim
Assemble the trim kit as shown below. Use one L bracket and spacer for each corner (use two brackets and two
spacers for the 2" trim). Use a screwdriver to tighten the set screws from behind. If the corners are not aligned,
loosen the screws, align, and re-tighten.
HINT: Blacken the Edges of the Extruded Trim
Before constructing the trim assembly, use a black permanent marker to blacken the silver edges of the extruded trim.
