ELECTRICAL BRAKE BLEEDER 30-60L 3.5bar
7. Turn the power switch (5) to the ON position. The green light on the switch should light up.
8. Adjust the bleed pressure by turning the pressure regulator knob (9) to the pressure recommended
by the vehicle manufacturer. Purging can now begin (refer to the vehicle manufacturer's procedure).
These instructions must be specifically followed when working on ABS systems.
9. Before removing the pressure hose (2) from the master cylinder adapter, reduce the pressure by
turning off the unit (5). Replace the original master cylinder cover on the tank.
In the event that the brake/clutch pedal becomes soft or the reactivity of the brake/clutch pedal
is too long, it is necessary to pump the pedal vigorously and repeat the bleeding procedure again.
Setting the appropriate purge pressure
The pressure is set at the factory to 1 bar. This ensures that the master cylinder tanks are not
deformed with too much pressure. It also prevents rubber or dust seals from leaking.
If less pressure is required to purge some systems, turn the knob to reduce the pressure. In case
a higher pressure is required, the pressure can be increased by turning the regulator knob to the
desired pressure.
Attention!
After changing the pressure setting of the purge unit, reset it to the factory setting of 1 bar.
Pre-suction system
The recovery canister (23) must be connected to the end cap of the rear panel.
Put the on/off switch (5) in the suction position.
Use the pipette to remove the old brake fluid from the reservoir. Clip the pipette onto the connector
on the back panel.
Turn off the power (ON/OFF switch (5) in position 0).
Fill with new brake fluid (as recommended by the manufacturer).
Please follow the steps in the instructions.
The pre-suction system must not be used for the transfer of other fluids!
ONLY FOR BRAKE FLUID!
Any warranty claim shall be void in the event of non-compliance with this provision.
When should the device be refilled?
After reaching a low level of liquid inside the tank, the unit automatically stops the pump motor,
preventing any air from being pumped into the brake system.
An audible warning signal or control lamp (7) lights up as an additional control function.
In this case, the empty brake fluid reservoir must be replaced by a full reservoir. To do this, the unit
must be switched off using the ON/OFF switch (5). Continue the procedure as described in the
"OPerating instructions" section.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of in accordance with the legal and official provisions on waste and
environmental protection.
