User privacy

Motorola and Lenovo are committed to protecting and appropriately using personal

data and user information under our care. To better understand what data Motorola

and Lenovo may collect and use, be sure to review the

When your product is turned on for the first time and is connected to the internet, the

international mobile station equipment identity (IMEI) number or serial number (SN)

of this product and information about the country and city where this product is first

activated is registered with Motorola and/or Lenovo, which is a one-time registration.

Confirming the mobile phone/tablet's activation facilitates after-sales service to you by

verifying the product's authenticity. This registration transmits less than 1KB of data.

Protecting your data and software

Do not delete unknown files or change the name of files or directories that were not

created by you; otherwise, the Lenovo Phone software might fail to work.

Be aware that accessing network resources can leave the Lenovo Phone vulnerable to

computer viruses, hackers, spyware, and other malicious activities that might damage

the Lenovo Phone, software, or data. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have

adequate protection in the form of firewalls, anti-virus software, and anti-spyware

software and keep such software up to date.

Keep electrical appliances away from the Lenovo Phone, such as an electric fan, a radio,

high-powered speakers, an air conditioner, and a microwave oven. The strong magnetic

fields generated by electrical appliances can damage the screen and the data on the

Lenovo Phone.

equipment marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin may not be

and WEEE. When possible, remove and isolate batteries from WEEE prior to placing
