Environmental sensing functions

Add another element of excitement to

your shooting with the environmental

sensing functions on the Nikon 1 AW1.

With all information visible onscreen and

included with your photos in the EXIF

image data, these functions can help

you remember precisely where your

adventures took you.

Support for both GPS and GLONASS

means you can quickly and accurately

have the camera log your exact location

and then display those unforgettable

shutter opportunities on a map using

the bundled ViewNX 2 software.

The dual function altimeter/depth

gauge lets you track the altitude from

–500 m to 4,500 m or see how deep

you are underwater, with data recorded

in 1 m increments.
