Distance adjustment between G10 lens and G11 lens

G10 lens

G12 lens

・Detach the 4th lens group (B47).

・Measure the thickness (i.e. the above "A") of the 4th lens group by the digital

micrometer.

・Turn the zoom ring to the full up position of the wide zoom, and set the lens on

the measurement stand.

・Reset the measurement to "0" at top face of G10 lens.

・Reassemble the 4th lens group and measure between the top faces of G10 and

G12 (i.e. the above "B").

・Calculate the following:

　B － A ＝ C

　5.779 － C ＝ Size of washer (#136)

・Put the washer (#136) into the bottom of the 4th lens group.
