INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Supplies required: (not provided by Acorn)
1. Wall fasteners, washers, anchors and screws.
2. Pipe sealant or Teflon tape for sealing water connections.
IMPORTANT: FLUSH WATER SUPPLY LINES PRIOR TO
CONNECTION TO SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
Notes:
Use hand tools and wrenches in a manner which will
—
prevent marring finished surfaces. Strap wrenches or tools
with plastic jaw linings are highly recommended.
Refer to Rough-in for location of supply and drain lines.

Fragments of Teflon tape or pipe sealant residue can
—
interfere with the proper operation of this unit. Ensure pipe
sealant methods do not cause contamination in the
system.
Step one: MOUNTING
1. Determine desired mounting location and drill 1 3/8' DIA.
mounting hole through counter top.
2. Insert deck escutcheon through hole and secure in place
with washer and retaining nut (provided) from underneath
counter top.
3. Insert drench hose assembly down into mounted
escutcheon.
S0704 ACTUATOR INSTALLATION
4. Locate mounting location for actuator assembly and drill
two 1-3/8" DIA. Holes through counter top. Insert valve
actuator assembly down into the 1-3/8" DIA. mounting
holes adjacent to the drench hose assembly, and secure
with flange nuts and washers from under side of the deck.
Connect PVC hose to actuator assembly.
S0704-PDV PUSH DOWN ACTUATOR INSTALLATION
4. Determine mounting location for push down assembly and
drill 1-3/8" DIA. Hole through counter top. Insert push
down assembly down into the 1-3/8" DIA. mounting hole
adjacent to the drench hose assembly, and secure wit
flange nuts, washers and deck bracket from under side of
the deck. Connect PVC hose to push down assembly.
Step two: SUPPLY LINE
1. Install water line (supplied by others) in close proximity to
drench hose location.
2. Connect water supply to supply connection of actuator
assemblies as shown.
3. Open water supply.
4. Test for leaks, proper operation and flow.
Step three: SIGNAGE & INSPECTION
1. Position sign with clear visibility, in close proximity to
safety equipment and mark mounting hole locations.
2. Select appropriate ¼" anchors, screws and washers
(Supplied by others) to install signage.
3. Attach inspection tag supplied, with plastic zip tie.
