Introduction:

Many Cadillac SRX and CTS include XM, DVD, GPS etc. but no option to connect

and play portable audio devices. Connecting an Auxiliary input to most cars

usually requires disconnecting XM, however having and XM tuner Module is the

only requirements for the AUX-CTS to work and provide a 3.5mm Audio input

jack to for all kinds of audio devices including Smartphones, MP3 Players,

Tablets, iPod etc. For additional details, please See Frequently Asked Question at

the end of this guide for special notes for 2004-05 CTS owners.

Installation:

(To radio)

Radio must be removed to gain access to plugs.

(SRX & XLR with Navigation requires our AUX-SRX or AUX-GM3x)

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C vents panel

(See Fig. 1)

Open ash tray and remove tray. Extract (1) 9/32" (7mm) screw in tray

cavity.

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C Control/ash tray

assembly below radio (See Fig. 2)

Remove (4) 10mm bolts securing radio to dash (See Fig. 3)

Pull radio forward to reveal to gain access to the connectors (See Fig. 4)
