Regular inspection of the ESD workplace
chair pursuant to IEC/DIN EN61340-5-1 is
recommended. These inspections must
take place on an annual basis.
When using the ESD chair in the vicinity
of electronic test equipment, the relevant
specifications and statutory regulations for
personal safety must be observed (e.g. BGI 891
"The Installation and Operation of Electronic
Test Equipment").
