The "A" Button

Pressing the A button once will sequentially cycle through each of the four main modes.

But it also acts a versatile function or menu button, akin to the modifier keys on a com-

puter, such as the Command key on Mac or the Control key on Windows. When you need

to access the different features written along the binding of Chorda (like Record, Play,

BPM, Octave), you'll use the A button to do so.

Try switching modes:

Start in Drum mode and press the A button once. Now you're in Bass mode!

PRESS

Try to activate a menu option:

Hold A, and tap Pad 11 - REC. You're now recording!

HOLD

Hold A and tap Pad 11 - REC, again, to stop recording. There are dozens of

other function combinations, found on the next page.
