Misuse and abuse of the Exuma is dangerous and can cause serious injuries
including broken bones, cuts, nerve damage, spinal cord and brain injury,
or death.
•
Trampolines, being rebound devices, propel the performer to unaccustomed
heights and into a variety of body movements.
•
All purchasers and all persons using the Exuma must become familiar with
the manufacturer's recommendations for proper assembly, use and care of
the trampoline, as well as being alert to the performer's own limitations
in the execution of trampoline skills. Assembly instruction, selected
precautions, recommended instructional techniques and progressions are
included to promote safe, enjoyable use of the equipment.
•
Safety pads must be used at all times. The pads are designed to prevent
injury due to falling upon the outer frame or on the springs.
•
Secure the Exuma against unauthorized and unsupervised use by
disconnecting the ladder and removing it from the water.
