CARTRIDGE REPLACING (THIS OPERATION SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY AUTHORIZED PERSONEL ONLY)
When the filtering cartridge must be replaced belong to the following procedure.
Before replacing the filtering cartridge pout the filter in by pass position. Turn the green knob clockwise and place the
filter in discharge position allowing the water to be completely drained from filter bowl.
Note. Even if the following pictures are referred to a filter not installed, the same phases can be followed in case of
filter is mounted on line.
1.1.
Remove fork in steel.

Unscrew the bowl.
1.7.
Turn the knob until the slits placed on the
inside of the impeller are open and not
closed by the rear plate.
BravoFIL filter, in particular after the filtering cartridge replacing or the discharge valve replacing, may require the
operation of placing in phase.
This operation must be executed according to the following procedure (see Figures from 1.1 to 1.7).

(Figure 1.1) Remove fork in steel.
2.
(Figure 1.2) Slip off the green discharge.
3.
Remove brass ring nut.
4.
(Figure 1.8) Insert a curved pincer inside the discharge valve and rotate it clockwise to close the valve
completely.
5.
(Figure 1.9) Screw the brass nut, insert the green plastic cover and put in the fork up as the initial conditions
(see Figure 1).

Slip off the green discharge.
1.5.
Grasp the cartridge at the bottom, push and
rotate upward to unhook cartridge from
bayonet connection. Possibly help with a
screwdriver, taking care not to damage the
fins of closure.
1.8.
Insert a curved pincer inside the discharge
valve and rotate it clockwise to close the
valve completely.

(Figure 1.2) Remove the discharge green cover

(Figure 1.3) Screw off the brass fixing nut
3.
(Figure 1.4) Remove the filter bowl
4.
(Figures 2.1 and 2.2) Clean thoroughly the discharge valve
keeping it in the opening and closing position alternatively
removing dirt eventually present in the o-ring seat.
5.
Replace the discharge valve in the filter bowl
6.
Screw the bowl on the filter head.

Screw the closing brass nut

Insert the discharge green conveyor and place the pin.

Remove brass ring nut.

Replace the damage cartridge with a
new one. Put teeth at the top of the
cartridge in the appropriate locations.
Rotate
counter-clockwise
until
locking of the cartridge.
1.9.
Screw the brass nut, insert the green
plastic cover and put in the fork up as
the initial conditions.
