Stampa la paginaThere are 2 ways to connect the DAC to your amplifier, chooice one:
1)
Use your amplifier to set the volume. Using an input on your pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier. Set
the CY-3100 volume to maximal (0dB).
2)
Connect directly to an end-amplifier or to the pre-amplifier input of an integrated amplifier. This
gives somewhat better sound quality. Adjust the volume with the CY-3100. Caution: some equipment,
especially computers and DVD players, might cause very short but loud static noise when the CY-
3100 is directly connected to an end-amplifier without volume control. Try before deciding to use
direct connection.
3.3 Connect your headphones
Instead of an amplifier and speakers, headphones can be used to listen to music. The headphones
connector is located on the back side.
Put the volume down to -30dB on the CY-3100 before connecting to headphone for the first time to
avoid too loud sound. Plug-in the headphone, it will be automatically recognized and play.
When headphones are used, there is still sound from the Audio-out.
Note: the Audio-out and headphone share some circuitry. When using an amplifier and speakers and the
headphones are not in use, unplug them for the best sound quality.
