Keep in mind, the cork is a natural material
which reacts to pressure, friction, tempera
ture and humidity. We therefore recommend
to regularly check if the cork is still in its
original full protective state.
In case you need to use sandpaper to adjust
ing the cork surface, make certain the dust
does not fall into the mechanical parts of
the adapter. This may negatively influence or
damage the functionality of your system.

Now you can easily attach the chin rest into
your adapter. Use the supplied key to tighten
it. (Use the thin side of the blade.) Once you
feel that the fixing screw is in contact with
1 cm
the titanium rod: a slight turning movement is
sufficient to keep the chin rest in place. The
chin rest can be raised from the adapter up to
one cm. Keep in mind that with this system,
less force is required to hold and control your
instrument with your chin.
To prevent the screws from falling out, we
have fastened them with a threadlocker
liquid. You will feel a resistance due to this
liquid during tightening or untightening of
the screws. Stop tightening as soon as you
feel the screws touching the titanium rods.
By not following this instruction you may
damage the tool or the screws. Tightening
goes clockwise.
