7. Operation Controls and Functions
7.1 Front Panel

HDMI INPUT
Transmitter
① HDMI input: Connect the HDMI input port to the HDMI or DVI output of
your equipment such as a DVD/Blu Ray player or set-top-box.
② Power: Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and connect the
adaptor to an AC outlet.
(1) A power adaptor is required for both the Transmitter and Receiver
boxes. Although the Receiver box can use power from the connected
CAT6 and HDMI cables, it is recommended to use an AC outlet, when
available, to maintain a strong and stable signal.
③ HDMI output: Connect the HDMI output port to the HDMI or DVI input of
your display such as an HDTV or HD monitor.
7.2 Rear Panel

① DDC output/input: Connect the DDC output of the transmitter to the DDC
input of the receiver using a CAT-6 cable.
② Video output/input: Connect the video output of the transmitter to the
video input of the receiver using a CAT-6 cable.
Note: A. Cable tested with CAT-6E/23AWG/Solid, using cables of another
type may result in a different operating distance.
B. Equipment used in cable distance testing included: PS3 20G, 37"
Philips 8 bit LCD TV and 37" Samsung 12 bit LCD TV.
C. Figures provided in this manual are for reference only, actual
performance may depend on the source and display used along with
the type of cable.
