Lint fi lter sensor
A lint fi lter sensor was introduced in August 2010. If the lint fi lter is not fully seated or inserted
incorrectly in the lint fi lter holder, the machine will not start. Moreover, an error message is dis-
played: "Insert fi lter". The system comprises a sensor in the lint fi lter holder and a magnet in the
lint fi lter. When the lint fi lter is correctly inserted, the magnet triggers the sensor, which closes the
circuit in the machine.
