STEP 2

-Attach a rafter between the (2) angle brackets at each post using (2) 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolts per rafter (see Fig. 2-1).

NOTE: The flat face of the rafters at both ends of the shelter should face OUT.

-Attach (2) angle brackets at the peak of each rafter using (2) 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolts per rafters as shown in Fig. 2-2.

-Hoist the ridge beam into position and attach to the angle brackets at each pair of rafters using (4) 5/8" x 4-1/2" bolts

as shown in Fig. 2-3.

-Attach the ridge cap to the ridge beam using #12 x 1-1/4" HWH #5 Tek screws at 12" on center on both sides (see Fig. 2-4).
