Install the Driver Software
Install the Driver Software (ScanGear CS-U) with the following procedure.
For Windows 98/2000 Professional users
Windows Millennium Edition
1.
Turn the computer on.
2.
The [Add New Hardware Wizard] dialog box will
appear.
Confirm that "Automatic search for a better driver
(Recommended)" is selected.
3.
Place the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM in the
drive.
4.
Wait for 10 seconds, then click [Next].
The driver will begin to install.
5.
When "Windows has finished installing the new
hardware device." appears, click [Finish].
