B) Add the TRIP port as the NetGuardian's dial up port

1. Navigate to the NetGuardian Definition page

a. From the Master Menu, select Files, LAN-based Remotes,

NetGuardian.

b. Press 'F' for Find

c. Enter the Site Number of the NetGuardian to be databased for

dial-up backup and press <Enter>. (Note if the system prompts

you, "This item is not in the datatbase. Would you like to add it

(Y/N)?" the Netguardian is not in the database and must be added.

2. Verify the password defined matches the master password in the

NetGuardian. Default password is "dpstelecom"

3. Add the NetGuardian TRIP port

a. Press 'E' for Edit and press <Enter> until the cursor appears at the

"Dial-out Port"

b. Enter the port number data-based in step A and press <Enter> to

navigate the remainder of the fields. The option list, "F)ind, E)dit,

D)elete, N)ext, P)revious, Q)uit :" should now appear at the

bottom of the page. See page 6-58 of the T/Mon 6.8 User Manual
