q Push up the closing cap (1

q Carefully remove the pump cap.
q Remove any loose debris / fluff from inside the
pump and clean the pump. The pump impeller
must be able to rotate.
Clean any residual lye or fluff from the thread of the
pump cap and pump housing.
q Attach and tighten the pump cap.
q Attach and close the cover plate.
To avoid unused detergent from flowing into the drain
during the next wash cycle:
q Pour 1 litre / 1 ¾ pt of water into chamber II.
q Select the Drain" programme.
This is necessary if very little or no water flows into the
washing machine.
First release the water pressure in the supply hose:
q Turn off the water taps.
q Turn the programme selector to any programme
(except Spin" and Drain").
q Press the Start" button, and allow the programme
to run for approx. 40 seconds.
q Turn the programme selector to Off".
