Draper 57860 取扱説明書
IMPORTANT
Check before plugging in that the mains voltage
agrees with the voltage on the rating plate of the
machine.
STARTING AND APPLICATION
The machine is supplied ready for use, with an
abrasive belt. In order to start work, securely hold the
machine with both hands and press the switch.
WARNING
The switch on this tool is fitted with a locking
device ✫✌ allowing the tool to be operated for
long periods of time without interruptions. (Fig.2.)
Before inserting the plug into the socket, check
that the switch is in the unlocked position. When
the tool is not to be used for long periods
remember to leave the switch device in the
unlocked position.
Always use the machine in a horizontal position,
accompanying it along the stroke and without using
excessive pressure, so as to avoid the formation of
"raggings". Fig.3.
ATTENTION!
Excessive pressure on the handgrip goes not
necessarily result in higher sanding speed, on the
contrary, it can provoke motor overloading and
less efficient operation.
It is not advised to use the machine for sanding metal
surfaces, but if this proves necessary it is absolutely
essential that the dust extraction unit is used.
ABRASIVE BELTS
Only use top quality abrasive belts as they improve
the machine performance and reduce the working
time. Only use abrasive belts with oblique joints, with
the grit grade reduced in the joint area or with the
grit grade completely eliminated in the joint area.
For roughing operations which require the removal
of large quantities of material, mainly use belts with
40 - 60 - 90 grit grades.
For finishing operations, use the belts with grit
grades from 150 to 320.
For sanding belts see Optional Accessories.
In order to prolong the life of the belt and to avoid
breakage, it is recommended to always work with the
dust extraction unit fitted.
IMPORTANT – DUST EXTRACTION FACILITY
Draper Tools recommends that the dust extraction
facility is used in conjunction with a suitable vacuum
cleaner or dust collector. (Fig.4).
Recommended Draper models:- WDV24, WDV1100,
SWD1100, DE1045 & DE1030.
CENTERING
In order to centre the belt (Fig.5), turn knob ✬✌ with
the machine running, until the belt is centered. Avoid
making contact between the belt and the Aluminium
housing, as it will be damaged and will no longer be
able to work correctly. (Fig.6).
