3 - MAINTENANCE
A- Prior the maintenance, download completely the spring tension as
indicated in item 2 C until the cable is completely free of tension.
Remove the frontal cover then remove the reel spring set, afterwards
inspect springs, bearings, cap and pinion, observing all components.
B- It is important to examine the terminal of the cable by removing the
plug (item 25) to detect any premature wear (see figure C)
CABLE REPLACEMENT
When the cable indicates any sign of damage, this should be replaced immediately. Better to
change the cable than run the risk of falling, losing the load or injuring the operator.
Security
The Draw ™ Balancers model P15 to P30 have a security system that prevents load fall, in case
of sudden rupture of the spring. In this case, with the absence of traction force, previously
exercised by the spring, retracts the spindle-pinion system and the pin (item 33) locking the return
of the reel (see Figure B).
4 - WARRANTY
Always use original Draw™ parts in replacing.
The Draw™ Balancers have 6 months warranty against manufacturing defects except for the
cable, whose durability depends on the handling of the moved load, so inspect the cable every 15
days by checking if there was no disruption of some of the wires that composes the weft.
Remember that the Draw™ Balancers are manufactured with first-class materials, so you will have
