9.2 Setting the short-term timer
The timer has no influence on the functions of the
oven.
Note: You can set the time on the short-term timer from
30 seconds up to 13 hours. You can set the duration
in 30-second increments up to 10 minutes, in 1-minute
increments from 10 minutes to 1 hour, and then in 5-
minute increments.

To switch off the signal tone, press any button or
open the appliance door.
Note: After a short time, the signal tone stops automat-
ically.
9.3 Setting the time
If required, you can change the time, e.g. from summer
time to winter time.
Requirement: The appliance is switched off.

Use
The short-term timer functions like an egg timer. It runs independently of the ap-
pliance when it is in operation and of other time-setting options, and does not af-
fect the appliance.
When no other function is running in the foreground, the appliance shows you
the time of day on the display.
Once the set cooking time has elapsed, the appliance automatically stops heat-
ing.
Enter a cooking time and the required end time. The appliance starts up auto-
matically so that it finishes cooking at the required time.

You can set the cooking time for your food on your ap-
pliance. This prevents the food from accidentally being
cooked for too long, and means that you do not have
to stop what you are doing to switch off the oven.
