ASSEMBLY OF THE MEDIA AND FILTER BODY

Follow these guidelines in order to reassemble the unit when the filtering

media and/or lid is removed for maintenance.

1. I nsert the coarse prefilter at the

bottom of the filter body.

2. V erify that the ceramic bio chamber

lid is locked into place by rotating

clockwise so that the intake and

output holes are completely open

(see diagram 2).

3. U sing the arrow on the ceramic

chamber strainer lid, align the arrow

with tab/key on the brim of the filter

body and insert the ceramic bio

chamber into the grooves of the

filter body.

4. A ll filtering foam and intake/output

flares must be installed properly as

indicated in the part list on page # 3.

5. V erify the O-ring is properly installed

and clean.

6. A lign the arrow on the filter lid with

the tab/key on the brim of the filter

body (see diagram 1).

7. N ow without any angles, insert the

intake/output flares directly into

intake/output holes in the ceramic

bio chamber.

8. I nstall the lid retainer clap verifying

that the three notches on the top of

the clamp are facing up. Align the

notches with the discharge ports.

9. S ecure the clasp.
