Operating Steps
1.
Plug unit into the appropriate 120V outlet.
NOTE:
Double units requires two 120V connections. Do not overload your breaker or it may trip.

Press 'ON/OFF' button to turn ON the unit. When the power is ON, a buzzer will sound (3) times and the LED
will display the time.
3.
Set the desired temperature by pressing and holding the up or down arrow AND the "Start/Stop" button at the
same time. Keeping the up or down key held down, press the "Start/Stop" button as many times as needed to
reach desired temperature. 365⁰F is the recommended set temperature for waffles when using Carnival King
batter.
NOTE:
The green light indicates when the unit is ON, while the orange light indicates if the unit is heating. The
orange light will turn OFF when temperature is reached.

Toggling between time and temperature. Press the "Set" and "Start/Stop" button at the same time and you
will see the display switch to either time or temperature.

Setting the timer. Once toggled into timer mode, set timer by pressing and holding the up or down arrow AND
the "Start/Stop" button at the same time. Keeping the up or down key held down, press the "Start/Stop"
button as many times as needed to reach desired time. 2:45 minutes is recommended time.

While the unit is preheating, prepare the waffle mix according to the instructions on the product. For best
performance, always use fresh batter and do not allow it to warm too much. Cook times varies based on the
mix that is used.
NOTE:
We recommend using Carnival King Belgian Waffle Mix (sold separately). Item #382BELGWAF
NOTE:
With grids open, allow 30–45 minutes for maker to preheat.

Open the grid and then pour the desired amount of batter evenly into the center of the lower grid. Be careful
not to overfill the grid with batter. It's recommended to add ¾ to 1 cup of batter.
8.
Close the top grid and rotate the handle 180⁰. Press the "Start/Stop" button to start the timer.
9.
When the timer 'buzzes', rotate the handle 180⁰, then remove the waffle using a pair of non-metallic tongs or
waffle fork.
10.
Repeat these steps to make multiple waffles.
NOTE:
Keep the grids closed between baking periods for best performance. It is also recommended that
you use a soft bristled high-heat brush to remove any waffle residue or crumbs from grids while baking to
prevent burning.
